Miss Natalie Baker
Artistic Director/Studio Owner
(pictured with oldest daughter Bethany)
Over 45 years of experience in dance from studying to teaching. In college she studied jazz, contemporary and tap. Performing and taking lessons with the WVU performing arts program. Ms. Natalie has a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in English and attended Shippensburg University for her Masters in Counseling.
Miss Ashlyn
Week A Instructor
Graduated from Cedar Crest College with a Bachelor in Arts Degree. She has been involved in many on stage productions such as "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" 2022 and "Fame" 2021 where she was Dance Captain. In college she participated in 'DanceWorks', 'Spring Dances', Terpsicore Dance Society, Tap Ties Company classes and many other dance organizations. Ashlyn studied locally growing up and she is currently an 8th grade substitute teacher.
Miss Bethany
Week B Instructor (Tuesday Only)
Graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Special Education. She has over 20 years of dance training and experience. Bethany has taught at the Spirit of Dance Studio since she was a student teacher in high school. In college, she was a member of the Kutztown University Dance Team (Gold Level) where she had the chance to perform at halftime during a 76ers pro-basketball game. Currently, Miss Bethany is a 6th grade learning support teacher and handles all of the graphic design/social media content for our studio.
Miss Rachel
Week B Instructor (Wednesdays Only)
Miss Rachel has been dancing for over 10 years in competitions, training with local studios and with the Spirit of Dance Studio.
Miss Aliyah
Alumni/Guest Choreographer
Studied dance at the Spirit of Dance Studio for over 13 years. She has been in over 35 productions and has placed 1st in many dance competitions. She is attending UNC Charlotte to study dance & business. She currently dances/choreographs for the Move Dance Alliance and spent her summer interning for the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC.
Miss Gianna
Alumni/Guest Choreographer
Studied dance for 15 years at The Spirit of Dance Studio. She has been in 34 productions and has placed 1st at many dance competitions. She was a Dance Team member & co-captain at Washington and Jefferson College and majoring in Mathematics. Currently a Computer Science student at the school of Engineering at Columbia University NYC.
